Free the Slaves

Free the Slaves works with liberators on the frontlines who risk their lives to bring slaves to freedom. We help survivors rebuild their lives, and work for systemic solutions. We promote holistic, sustainable solutions that are developed by community members themselves. We help communities assert their basic rights, and we share success stories so others can see what's working.
We provide protection from violence by focusing public attention on the dangers anti-slavery activists face.
We create an open forum to share ideas and solutions across national boundaries.
We seize opportunities to influence policy-makers and the public on local and global levels.
We build recognition for modern-day abolitionists, and help obtain funding.

Global Alliance for Rabies Control

Rabies kills thousands of people and hundreds of thousands of animals every year, but every death is preventable.
Our primary goal is to free people and animals from the threat of rabies.

Our mission
The mission of the Alliance is to prevent human deaths from rabies and relieve the burden of rabies in other animal populations, especially dogs. This includes protecting people from the terror, poverty, suffering and death that rabies brings and end the injustice that sees this entirely preventable disease still kills over 55,000 people every year, 99% of them from the world’s poorest communities promoting healthy relationships between people and dogs alleviating the burden of the disease in animals in general.

Global Brigades

Global Brigades is the world’s largest student-led global health and sustainable development organization. Since 2004, Global Brigades has mobilized thousands of university students and professionals through nine skill-based service programs to improve quality of life in under resourced communities.

Global Health Media Project

The Global Health Media Project is developing effective clinical videos that will be widely accessible to health workers in low-resource settings.

These videos will address the critical gap in knowledge transfer and best practices that is a root cause of poor health outcomes in these regions. Our goal is to help health workers save lives and reduce morbidity by reaching a large number of them with easily understood, memorable visual images using a very low-cost approach.
