Médecins Sans Frontières International

Médecins Sans Frontières is an international, independent, medical humanitarian organisation that delivers emergency aid to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, healthcare exclusion and natural or man-made disasters.

MSF received the 1999 Nobel Peace Prize in recognition of its members' continued efforts to provide medical care in acute crises, as well as raising international awareness of potential humanitarian disasters.

Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors Without Borders (MSF) Southern Africa

The Southern Africa Medical Unit (SAMU) is the medical division of MSF South Africa. Our mission is to provide technical and implementation support to the various MSF HIV/TB/ Integrated missions, focusing on innovative ideas and technologies that are feasible to implement. Although principally based in South Africa, some SAMU members perform frequent field support visits in all countries in the world where MSF is offering TB/HiV care.

Mental Health Europe

Mental Health Europe is an umbrella organisation which represents associations, organisations and individuals active in the field of mental health and well-being in Europe, including (ex)users of mental health services, volunteers and professionals. As such, MHE bridges the gap between its 73 member organisations and the European institutions, and keeps its members informed and involved in any developments at European Union level.
MHE's work takes different forms. As the main mental health organisation active in Brussels, MHE is committed to advocating for its cause, whether this takes the form of submitting amendments to legislation, consulting with the European Commission, forming alliances with other organisations or being part of expert groups. Mental health Europe also develops and coordinates its own projects, conducts and disseminates research.

Mercy Ships is a global charity that provides free primary medical care and community support to the world’s most impoverished, transforming lives one at a time. We mobilize our hospital ships and network of dedicated volunteers to reach communities in desperate need of hope and healing.
Through the deployment of the world’s largest private hospital ship, the Africa Mercy, Mercy Ships works with host nations to help fill the voids in local health care systems, while serving the dire and immediate needs of their population. The Africa Mercy is crewed by 450 volunteers from around the world that deliver medical excellence and developmental programs with integrity and compassion.
Mercy Ships provides a variety of curative surgical interventions, along with training opportunities for local medical professionals. Collaborating with qualified local and international partners, Mercy Ships offers holistic support to developing nations striving to make healthcare accessible for all.

METAdrasi's main goal is the promotion of a rational system for the management of mixed migration flows with respect for human rights through a variety of services, such as the provision of interpretation services, legal support, escort and guardiasnhip of unaccompanied minors.

MicroMappers

MicroMappers is a joint initiative with the United Nations to support humanitarian efforts across the world. Volunteers tag and map information about humanitarian crises culled from social media, to help crisis responders focus their efforts.
