Translators without Borders supplies voluntary or low cost translation services to humanitarian organisations. The following is a list of some of the non-profit organizations served.

INTERSOS MMP

INTERSOS works in full coherence with the principles of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the European Convention on Human Rights: it does not make any difference or discrimination whatsoever based on race, gender, religious belief, nationality, ethnic origin or class of people who are in need of help.

Invu (Testing)

IOM Panama

In the Americas region, IOM Panama would like to translate a global online course as in support of preparedness and response operations in disaster-affected places.

IPPF-SPRINT

SPRINT was designed to address gaps in the implementation of The Minimum Initial Service Package (MISP) for Reproductive Health which is a set of priority activities to be implemented at the onset of an emergency. The gaps were identified in a global evaluation undertaken in 2004 by the IAWG [The Inter Agency Working Group on Reproductive Health in Crises (IAWG)] formed in 1995 to develop guidance on addressing sexual and reproductive health (SRH) for refugees, internally displaced people and other affected by emergencies.
The SPRINT Initiative provides one of the most important aspects of humanitarian assistance that is often forgotten when disaster and conflicts strike. Ensuring access to essential life-saving SRH services for women, men and children in times of crises, a time when services are most needed yet are not prioritised or recognised by key humanitarian responders, SPRINT delivers practical solutions for girls and women, trains humanitarian workers to deal with pregnancy,

Jewish World Watch

Jewish World Watch works to end genocide and mass atrocities worldwide by educating and mobilizing individuals, advocating for policy changes, and funding projects to support and build resilience in conflict-affected communities. JWW works with grantees in the Democratic Republic of the Congo where their first language is French.

JIPS (Joint IDP Profiling Service)

JIPS - the Joint IDP Profiling Service - is an inter-agency service, which was set up in 2009. Based in Geneva, its mission is to support government, humanitarian and development actors design and implement collaborative profiling exercises.

Working primarily in situations of internal displacement, the Service seeks to promote a culture of evidence-based decision making in displacement situations. Provided both on-site and remotely, JIPS tailors its support to the needs on the ground and enhances in country profiling capacity-building to generate locally owned, impactful and agreed-upon data.

Johanniter-Unfall-Hilfe e.V.

Johanniter-Unfall-Hilfe has been active in a broad range of social and charitable fields since 1952: from outpatient care to child and youth services to international assistance.

La Isla Network

La Isla Network is a Nicaragua based NGO working at the intersection of public health and human rights to address the fatal epidemic of Chronic Kidney Disease of non-traditional causes (CKDnT, formerly known as Chronic Kidney Disease of unknown causes or CKDu) among sugarcane workers in Latin America. CKDnT kills more people in Nicaragua than lukemmia, AIDS and diabetes combined. We believe that some of the primary causes of CKDnT stem from harsh working conditions within the sugar industry.
The primary goal of La Isla Network is to improve working conditions within the sugar industry, and in turn save the lives of sugarcane workers in Nicaragua by ending the CKDnT epidemic.

Land is Life

Land is Life is an Indigenous-led coalition of grassroots leaders, communities, and organizations around the world. Since its inception in 1992, Land is Life has built a broad and trusted network of Indigenous peoples, collectively working on the frontlines to safeguard the rights of Indigenous peoples and to protect lands, cultures, and biodiversity for all of humanity. Land is Life has provided direct grassroots support for Indigenous Peoples to protector their lands, cultures, practices, and livelihoods all while working to increase international recognition of their rights. At the heart of Land is Life is a community-led process guided by a Steering Council of leading Indigenous activists, who are stewards of its mission.
