Translators without Borders supplies voluntary or low cost translation services to humanitarian organisations. The following is a list of some of the non-profit organizations served.

American Red Cross

The American Red Cross exists to provide compassionate care to those in need. Our network of generous donors, volunteers and employees share a mission of preventing and relieving suffering, here at home and around the world, through five key service areas: disaster relief, supporting America's military families, lifesaving blood, health and safety services, and international services.

Amref Flying Doctors

AMREF’s goal is to offer lasting solutions by eliminating the conditions in which diseases flourish and help to establish strong, sustainable, community-based health care systems. AMREF believes that creating sustainable health-service infrastructures ­by providing communities with the knowledge, skills, and resources needed to combat disease and alleviate poverty, empowers communities to address their own health needs. AMREF’s on-the-ground, community-based organizational model has made it a trusted entity in African communities.

Vision: Better Health for young women in Africa. Mission: Amref Flying Doctors works from the Netherlands for a better health for young women in Africa. We do this by raising funds and by creating support among the public and in politics. We support Amref Health Africa in Africa with her work to strengthen communities and to create sustainable health systems. In order to give young women the health and care they have the right. We do this by creating connections, share knowledge and by lobbying. Based on the needs but especially on the strength of the African people. Our core values are openness, integrity and efficiency.

Ashinaga

ASHINAGA PROVIDES EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT TO ORPHANED CHILDREN WORLDWIDE.

Every year, 6,000 orphans receive Ashinaga scholarships. Over the past 50 years, Ashinaga has helped around 100,000 orphans fulfill their dream of attending college.

Ashinaga supports orphaned students, as well as children with a parent suffering from a physical or mental disability that prevents them from working. Our support is divided into three main fields: enabling access to education, providing emotional support, and empowering our students. These fields apply to all of our activities in Japan and Sub-Saharan Africa, including the Ashinaga Africa Initiative.

ASHOKA

• Supporting Social Entrepreneurs - Social entrepreneurs are the engines of social change and role models for the citizen sector. Ashoka identifies and invests in leading social entrepreneurs and helps them achieve maximum social impact.
• Promoting Group Entrepreneurship Groups and networks of social entrepreneurs working together accelerate and spread social impact. Ashoka engages communities of entrepreneurs and develops patterns of effective collaborations that change entire fields.
• Building Infrastructure for the Sector A global network of changemakers requires tools and support systems to deliver sustainable social solutions. Ashoka creates needed infrastructure, such as access to social financing, bridges to business and academic sectors, and frameworks for partnerships that deliver social and financial value.

Asmae - Association Soeur Emmanuelle

Asmae - Association Sœur Emmanuelle est une ONG de solidarité internationale spécialisée dans le développement de l’enfant. Indépendante, laïque et apolitique, elle est ouverte à tous.

Nos actions visent à soutenir les enfants les plus démunis et à favoriser leur autonomie, par l’éducation, la santé et l’accompagnement psychosocial.

Nous sommes présents dans 8 pays sur trois continents : Egypte, Liban, Mali, Philippines, Madagascar, Inde, Burkina Faso, et France.

Trente ans après la fondation de l’association par sœur Emmanuelle, les équipes qui ont pris la relève restent fidèles aux valeurs d’écoute et de réciprocité qui sont à la base de notre action.

Asociación CoCoSI - Comité Contra El SIDA Cabañas, El Salvador

Our primary goal at this time is to educating on non-binary gender in schools and through radio to prevent new cases of HIV, bullying and hate crimes in rural communities of Cabañas, El Salvador.
CoCoSI is the first NGO in El Salvador to formally have a Non-Binary Gender Policy. CoCoSI works in communities and the prison, with the Ministries of Health and Education.
Also, with several women’s groups formed by CoCoSI, advocate for women’s rights and educate in reproductive health rights. We work with children, adolescents and teens – from kindergarten to high school.

ATIA

ATIA, created in 2008, is member of the Inter Aide Group. It aims to implement social and economic development programs, mostly in urban areas for slumdwellers in India, Madagascar and the Philippines.
ATIA aims also to promote access for the most vulnerable to development. The programs respond to specific, vital needs. Through our various programs, our principal objective is to reinforce the capacities of vulnerable populations to allow them to participate in improving living conditions in their communities.
Priority is given to holistic activities that can lead families toward self-reliance.
The programs are all defined according to the needs of families and consist of several types:
- Access to employment: productive loans, vocational training
- Social: Support to vulnerable families, early childhood development
- Health: Micro-insurance program, fight against tuberculosis
- Education: Preschool and primary education
